- Keep the balls with you and hand them over one at a time.
- Pause before each one so your child can ask with a reach, a sign or a word.
- Name what they asked for: "More!"

Add a word
- When your child says one word, say it back with one more word.
- "Ball" becomes "blue ball". "Down" becomes "ball down!"
- Don't ask them to repeat it. Just keep modeling.
